My career path and my motivation
Specialist in Internal Medicine | Travel and Tropical Medicine | Private Practice
After completing my medical studies in 2014, I began my residency at the 4th Department of Internal Medicine, specializing in infectious diseases and tropical medicine, at the Favoriten Clinic (then Kaiser Franz Josef Hospital). There, my focus developed into internal infectious diseases and illnesses related to travel and stays in the tropics.
In 2016, I was able to deepen my expertise during a study abroad program at Mahidol University in Bangkok and earned a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H). This experience significantly shaped my understanding of travel medicine risks, diagnostics, and treatment.
Since 2021, I have been managing the travel medicine vaccination service at the Favoriten Clinic, and therefore continuously work according to the latest guidelines and recommendations of international professional societies.
In my private medical practice, I would like to make this expertise accessible to you – be it for careful travel preparation, for the rapid clarification of complaints after returning home, or for internal medicine preventive care and the treatment of chronic illnesses.
Consultations are available in German, English, or French. The large French-speaking community in Vienna particularly appreciates this option, and I am pleased to be able to offer them an easily accessible and reliable medical point of contact.
