As a private physician, I can dedicate ample time to your concerns. After payment of your invoice, I will forward it to your health insurance provider, and you will receive a partial reimbursement.
Please note that travel medicine consultations and related vaccinations are not covered by health insurance in Austria.

Travel medicine services
Initial consultation in travel medicine
As a specialist in travel and tropical medicine, I offer comprehensive travel medicine advice to best protect your health during stays abroad.
As part of the consultation
- Individual risk analysis: Assessment of the travel destination taking into account region, type of travel, duration and personal pre-existing conditions.
- Vaccination advice and planning: Review of existing vaccination protection as well as recommendation and implementation of necessary travel and standard vaccinations.
- Malaria and infection prophylaxis: Information on regional infection risks (e.g., malaria, dengue, yellow fever) and prescription of suitable prophylactic measures.
- Medical travel preparation: Advice on travel pharmacy, behavior in case of illness abroad and special risks (e.g. high altitude stays, diving, long-haul flights).
- Special advice for risk groups such as pregnant women, chronically ill people, elderly people or immunosuppressed patients.
The aim of travel medicine advice is to identify health risks early and minimize them through preventive measures.
Cost: €60 for the first person; for group consultations, €30 for each additional person, plus the cost of the vaccines. Vaccine prices are based on the current pharmacy retail price.
Should multiple partial vaccinations be necessary, only the costs for the respective vaccines will be incurred at the subsequent appointments.

Vaccinations without consultation
If you already know which vaccinations you need and do not require further consultation, these can be administered at my practice. Please note that we cannot administer vaccines you bring yourself, as maintaining the cold chain cannot be guaranteed.
Cost: €20 plus the cost of the vaccines
Vaccination record check
Up-to-date vaccinations are an essential part of preventative healthcare – even independently of travel.
As part of the vaccination record check, I carefully review your existing vaccination status, taking into account the current recommendations of the Austrian vaccination plan.
Cost: €30 plus the cost of the vaccines

Internal medicine or infectious disease primary consultation
The focus is on a holistic approach to your symptoms, in order to not only treat individual signs but also to identify the underlying causes. These include:
- Detailed medical interview (anamnesis): Detailed assessment of your symptoms, pre-existing conditions and living circumstances.
- Thorough clinical examination: Careful physical examination as the basis for all further diagnostics.
- Targeted further diagnostics: If necessary, arranging laboratory tests, imaging procedures or specialist medical assessments.
- Individual consultation to discuss findings. Clear explanation of the results and joint planning of further steps.
- Personalized therapy recommendation: Creation of a tailored treatment plan taking into account your needs and life situation.
My status as a private physician allows me to offer you comprehensive care without health insurance limitations and to specifically address your concerns.

Cost: €250 including all on-site examinations
Preventive check-ups and general health advice
Regular check-ups are a key component in detecting diseases early and maintaining your health in the long term.
I take the time for comprehensive and individual preventative care, tailored to your personal life situation, risk factors and health goals.
The preventive examination includes:
- Detailed medical history: Collection of your medical history, family risks and your lifestyle (diet, exercise, stress, sleep).
- Clinical examination: Full body examination to assess your current state of health.
- Targeted diagnostics: If necessary, laboratory tests and further investigations for the early detection of risk factors and diseases.
- Individual health advice: Recommendations on nutrition, exercise, prevention and lifestyle – scientifically sound and practical for everyday life.
- Prevention planning: Joint determination of sensible preventive measures, controls and, if necessary, vaccination recommendations.
The focus is not only on detecting diseases, but above all on actively promoting your health and quality of life.

Urgent appointment – rapid medical assessment
In case of sudden symptoms, I offer short-notice appointments for a rapid and targeted medical evaluation.
The focus is on a timely assessment of your symptoms in order to identify urgent health problems early and initiate the necessary measures.
The urgent appointment includes:
- Brief, structured medical history: collection of current complaints and relevant accompanying circumstances.
- Targeted clinical examination: Focused physical examination according to your symptoms.
- Immediate assessment of urgency to clarify whether further diagnostics, therapy or referral is necessary.
- Initiation of initial measures, recommendation or prescription of appropriate treatment or further steps.
Please note that the urgent care appointment is designed for a brief and efficient assessment of acute symptoms. For comprehensive diagnostics or complex issues, I recommend scheduling a regular appointment.
The goal is to quickly provide you with security and ensure the best possible initial care.
